Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

Arrive at Leh Airport, where our representative will warmly welcome you and escort you to your hotel. Take the day to rest and acclimate to the high altitude, with a refreshing welcome tea or coffee served upon arrival. In the evening, set out to explore the historic Leh Palace, the serene Shanti Stupa, and the bustling Leh Market. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After an early breakfast, start your day with a tour of the ancient monasteries in the Indus Valley, visiting Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, and the Stok Palace Museum. Following lunch, head out to see the Hall of Fame museum, the Kali Mata temple in Spituk Monastery, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, the Magnetic Hill, and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. Return to Leh in the evening for dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Post breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Nubra Valley, crossing the famous Khardung La Pass, the highest motorable road in the world. After descending from the pass, continue toward the Sumoor area for some sightseeing before checking into a fixed camp or proceeding to Deskit for an overnight stay.

Begin the day with visits to Deskit, Hundar, and the remarkable sand dunes, where you may choose to take an optional short camel safari on a double-humped Bactrian camel. In the afternoon, return to Leh, arriving in the late afternoon or evening. Enjoy the evening exploring Leh Market and pick up some souvenirs before spending the night at the hotel.

Start early for a full-day excursion to the breathtaking Pangong Lake, traveling through Changla Pass. Located at an altitude of 4,267 meters, Pangong Lake stretches over 133 kilometers, with a portion of its waters extending across the Indo-China border. Absorb the stunning scenery and serene atmosphere before making your way back to Leh, arriving in the late afternoon or evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
